Nagase (Europa) GmbH supplies enzyme preparations produced by Nagase Viita, a consolidated subsidiary of NAGASE & CO., LTD.
These enzyme preparations are primarily manufactured via submerged fermentation using classical and self-cloned Streptomyces strains — a genus with over 570 known soil-dwelling species.

All enzyme activities used in commercial food productions have been submitted to EFSA for evaluation under the FIAP framework (Regulation (EC) No 1332/2008).
