TTO-V Series is a range of ultrafine titanium dioxide UV filters produced via wet-process and classified as rutile grade. With an average primary particle diameter of 10 nm, the filters absorb UVB radiation between 290 and 320 nm, while maintaining particularly high transmittance in the visible spectrum – making them ideal for transparent sunscreen formulations.
Due to their low cohesiveness, TTO-V Series grades disperse easily in the oil phase using a homogenizing mixer. This enhances formulation flexibility and optical clarity, allowing for smooth, lightweight textures in sun care products.
