TTO-V-4 is an ultrafine, rutile-type titanium dioxide UV filter with a primary particle size of 10 nm. Produced via wet process, it provides efficient UVB protection across the 290–320 nm range, while maintaining high transmittance in the visible spectrum – allowing for clear, lightweight sunscreen formulations.
Due to its low cohesiveness, TTO-V-4 disperses easily in the oil phase using a homogenizing mixer, enabling stable and smooth integration into modern sun care products. It features low photoactivity, low heavy metal content, and is ideal for clean-label and sensitive-skin applications.
