UV Filter – TTO-55 Series

TTO-55 Series is a group of rutile-type ultrafine titanium dioxide filters with an average primary particle diameter of 40 nm. It absorbs UVB radiation in the 290–340 nm range and extends coverage into longer wavelengths. Due to its lower transmittance in the visible region, TTO-55 is ideal for base makeup and other sun care applications where high transparency is not required.

The product offers a strong covering effect, low photoactivity, low heavy metal content, and is suitable for sensitive skin. It is recommended to first disperse TTO-55 Series in a highly polar ester oil before formulation.
